'Araful is a boss and Entoma Queen introduced in Death end re;Quest, Araful later reappears in Death end re;Quest 2's Pain Area and Death end re;Quest: Code Zs Strain Area

Death end re;Quest

Araful appears as the boss of Sanatheus Temple in Chapter 5. You fight Araful at the end of the dungeon. Defeating Araful triggers a scene, gives you the Exchange β x1 Code Jack, giving you access to summon Araful in battle and concludes Chapter 5. You can enhance the Araful summon in the Strain Area up to level 10 by talking to Levin.

A variant of Araful named ''Bleeding Araful'' can be fought at the end of the bonus dungeon Landor Cave, The Uncharted Lands from the ''Dungeon re;Quest pack'' DLC, along with variants of Skala (Bleeding Skala) and the Infernal Wyrm (Bleeding Sol Blast).

Death Ends

• Step into my Parlor: You can trigger a hidden Death End by escaping the battle then running out of the room, a scene will trigger where Araful has put the entire party into cocoons while they are getting devoured by Araful's larvae.
  

Death end re;Quest 2

Araful reappears in the second level of the Pain Area of Death end re;Quest 2 which can be accessed in New Game+ by interacting with the phone booth with Mai, Rotten and Liliana in the party. Araful in this game has been significantly buffed up to match the difficulty of the Pain Area. Araful is also known as ''Araful ẞ'' in this game, which is a trait shared with the other Entoma Queens who reappear in Death end re;Quest 2. Defeating Araful ẞ gives access to the third floor.

Araful reappears in the Strain Area of Death end re;Quest: Code Z where they serve as the boss in the ''deepest part of the dungeon'', still having many of its previous charateristics like its moon attribute. Araful and by extension the other bosses seemingly have captured a ''heroine'' and by defeating Araful you can rescue said heroine, in Araful's case you seem to get Shina Ninomiya as a recruit who automatically follows Sayaka and provides auxiliary support to her, you then have to escape the dungeon together after defeating the boss by finding a escape point.
