Basilissa (バシリッサ) is a character that physically resembles and is most likely another incarnation of Ripuka along with Sayaka set to appear in Death end re;Quest: Code Z.

History

A musician of unknown age who has been active in the world for about 10 years, She is quite famous. She openly identifies herself as a Luden and has been working as a model for a while, taking advantage of her good looks. The music she provided for ''World's Odyssey'' was particularly well received, and it is even said that the total number of players increased just to hear her music. Her repertoire is wide-ranging, from intense rock tunes to emotional songs that make you feel deeply touched.

She is also capable of voice recording and is an indispensable member of the ''World's Odyssey'' staff. However, she is not registered with either Enigma or Iris, and she demands an exorbitant fee for every job she performs.

She has some kind of relationship with ''Shina Ninomiya'' outside of work, and sometimes, unusually for a solitary artist like Basilissa, she even approaches the other artist on her own.

She also seems to be very fond of a certain person because of her own sexual tendencies. This leads to a very serious incident later on. As you can see, she is not a good guy, so be careful.

Her description suggests heavily she is Ripuka from her ending in the Ripuka DLC where she gets reincarnated as a musician working for Enigma.

Etymology

The name Basilissa may be based on the Basilinna from ancient greece which is also sometimes spelled as ''Basilissa'', It was a ceremonial position in the religion of ancient Athens. The most important duty of the basilinna appears to have been taking part in a sacred ritual marriage to the god Dionysus.
