Chloe Falena (クロエ • ファレーナ Falena Chloe) is a 'Glitch Girl' based on data of Celica Clayton, created by ARATA MIZUNASHI and appears in Death end re;Quest: Code Z.

History

One of the improvised Ludens created by ARATA MIZUNASHI. It is based on data about the game character ''Celica Clayton'', the memories of a certain person, and the corpse of Chloe's manager, ''Laffy Candy'', who died from an illness.

Her appearance is naturally very similar to Chloe Aaron, which she takes great satisfaction in due to her liking of the original Chloe. She hopes to become Chloe Aaron's manager when she comes back to life, and is given a special mission by ARATA MIZUNASHI.

Originally a passionate fan of Celica Clayton and a gamer. She is also a long-time player of "World's Odyssey" to the point where she shows off extraordinary skills at one point. Her time as Chloe's manager before her death was not long at all, but they trusted each other. It was never thought she would still be Chloe's manager even after her death.

Unlike Celica Clayton who is missing the emotion ''despair'', it seems that Chloe Falena is completely overcome by despair.

Appearance

Chloe has white/light blue hair and yellow eyes. She wears a white dress with a black outline, and a strap around her chest under her breasts. Over the dress she wears a blue zip up hooded jacket-dress combination that is zipped at the middle but open at the top and bottom, with white lines along the arms and around the sleeve openings, and with a feather-like ornament on the hood. She wears a blue scarf that resemble butterfly wings at the ends, and has a butterfly mark on her right breast. She wears black combat boots with white stockings and black ribbons that run along her legs and with butterfly ornaments.

In her Glitch Mode, she has a large butterfly hair ornament on the right side of her head. She has black markings with blue outlines around her neck and shoulders that extend down to partially cover her breasts. The ends of the scarf she wears in her base form appear glitched and torn. She wears black with blue "boots" that go up to her thighs.

Trivia

• Chloe's surname "Falena" means ''moth'', which is commonly viewed as the counterpart to the butterfly.
• Chloe is the only Glitch Girl whose naming scheme is the reverse of the others, retaining the original's first name while being given a new surname. She seemingly kept the name Chloe due to her interest in the original Chloe Aaron.
  • This difference in naming scheme may also suggest that there is a major difference between her and the other Glitch Girls, as she is the only one to suggest she serves ARATA unwillingly.
