Death end re;Quest 3 (logo tentative) is a main series game that connects the stories of Death end re;Quest and Death end re;Quest 2, Death end re;Quest Code Z is also important to it's plot, it is set to release at a unspecified date. It has been teased in the same interview by Famitsu that Death end re;Quest: Code Z (known as Death end re;Quest Code Zion at this point) was teased at.
A dengeki article revealed that Death end re;Quest 3 will retain the same genre as the previous two installments, more info will also be revealed during fall.
As indicated by the color scheme of the 3, which is similar to the 2 in Death end re;Quest 2's New Game+ title screen, it will most likely be about the Observers.
Like Death end re;Quest: Code Z, Death end re;Quest 3 will also be rated CERO-Z since they want to aim for something more extreme and intense, they are also gonna focus on adding replay value to this entry by including new features and systems that should feel fresh even for players of the previous titles.
In a recent Compile Heart TV episode they revealed that Death end re;Quest 3 will be a true continuation of the Death end re;Quest series, likely picking up from where Death end re;Quest 2 ended, they also added that it'll introduce features like ''catching your own bugs'', ''debugging'' and ''a feature that predicts a Death End'', which could all be related to the Observers and their power and influence over the different worlds and timelines.
