Ephemera is a boss and Entoma Queen introduced in Death end re;Quest, A harder version of Ephemera also appears in the DLC Dungeon ''Godot Ruins, the Phantom Abyss'' as Phantom Ephemera.
Death end re;Quest[]
Ephemera appears as the boss of Godot Ruins in Chapter 3 right after you've beaten the Corpse, you fight Ephemera at the end of the dungeon. Defeating Ephemera triggers a scene, gives you the Antidote (Self) Code Jack, gives you access to summon Ephemera in battle and concludes Chapter 3. You can later enhance the Ephemera summon in the Strain Area up to level 10 by talking to Levin at any point after Chapter 5.

Ephemera reappears in the Strain Area of Death end re;Quest: Code Z where they serve as the boss in the ''deepest part of the dungeon'', Ephemera and by extension the other bosses seemingly have captured a ''heroine'' and by defeating Ephemera you can rescue said heroine, who automatically follows Sayaka and provides auxiliary support to her, you then have to escape the dungeon together after defeating the boss by finding a escape point.
