Godot Ruins is a area in Death end re;Quest in the Goen Region that the party visits in Chapter 3, you revisit the area in Chapter 8. The track that plays here is City Of Illusion.

The bonus dungeon added in the ''Dungeon re;Quest pack'' DLC ''Godot Ruins, the Phantom Abyss'' is described as a hidden section inside of Godot Ruins, you can go there at any point after Chapter 5 after you unlocked the Strain Area and ability to quick travel.

Godot Ruins[]

You travel here shortly after meeting Clea Glaive who offered the party safe passage through here to reach Rizari Bay, it is seemingly the ruins of an ancient city. Later on in the dungeon you'll encounter the ''Corpse'', a enemy that has been bugged and had its stats increased, Clea suggests using the ''Vessel Crusher'' bomb to eliminate the Corpse, she entrusts Shina to use the bomb but it malfunctioned almost killing her, Arata tries to find a way to get Shina back and reduce the Corpse's stats, later on you'll face off with the Corpse again. After you've succesfully beaten the Corpse, you can face off the Entoma Queen at the end of the dungeon ''Ephemera''. Defeating Ephemera triggers a scene, gives you the Antidote (Self) Code Jack, gives you access to summon Ephemera in battle and concludes Chapter 3.

You come here by going through the Sinbick Seed Wilderness from The Royal Shipyard of Sturfil.

Death Ends[]

  • Too Little, Too Late: When you encounter the Corpse. Choose "Everyone run for it" and the Corpse incinerates them one by one.
  • The Ultimate Price: Shina is in critical condition, and Clea's item fails to work. Choose "Verifying Shina's connection", and Arata will attempt to separate Shina's data from her consciousness and physical model. W.O.D. detects this as an "Unknown Factor" and summons the Corpse to eliminate the party.
  • Fear Incarnate: You can trigger a Death End right before the battle with the Corpse, choosing ''I'm scared'' as the dialogue option will describe a scene where the Corpse singlehandedly rips the entire party to shreds

Godot Ruins (Revisited)[]

You travel here to find the Terminal Stone that was missing from the Terminal in Sanatheus Temple. Shortly after traveling here Ripuka will confront the party and will initiate battle with the party, you can either lose to or defeat Ripuka to trigger a scene, after you beat Ripuka she'll begin to taunt Lucil Filarete and her character sequence will begin to collapse from her buggy surpressing her joy, Beating Lucil will trigger a scene and you'll have to fight her again with slightly increased stats, beating Lucil the second time triggers another scene where she'll regain her joy, at the end of the dungeon you'll have to fight the Infernal Wyrm (known as Hiraru Sol at this part of the game) after it snatched the Terminal Stone, beating the Infernal Wyrm will triggers a scene, grant you the Genre: Billiards Battle Jack, the Attachment Ω Code Jack and concludes chapter 8.

Shirote can also now be found here for the ''Helping Shirote'' side quest.

Death Ends[]

  • Shall we Dance?: Losing to Lucil will trigger a Death End where Lucil uses the party as puppets and pulls their corpses up by strings, Arata joins Lucil in laughter from losing his mind.
