Heartis Palace is a area in Death end re;Quest that Shina visits in the prologue serving as the tutorial for a good bit. Shina along with the other party members return to Heartis in Chapter 6. The track that plays here is Hollow Crown.

Heartis Palace[]

Heartis Palace is home to princess Lily Hopes, her father (the king) and the Palace Guards. You fight the Entoma Queen ''Skala'' at the end of the dungeon. If you lose to Skala that'll trigger another Death End where it is described that Skala is playing with the corpses of Shina and Lily. Defeating Skala triggers a scene, gives you the Pandemic (Enemy) x1 Code Jack, unlocks the ability to summon Entoma Queens in battle, giving you access to summon Skala and concludes Chapter 1.

You come here by going through the Northern Heartis Wilds from The House of Beginning.

Death Ends[]

Naive: While traversing through Heartis Palace you have a opportunity to trigger a Death End, You'll encounter a event flag which triggers a scene where Shina and Lily encounter a guard that has been taken over by the Entoma, choosing to help the guard will result in the guard using tentacles to choke out Shina, ultimately killing her.
A Sacred Execution: Right before the boss you can trigger another Death End, After talking to the king for the first time, instead of going back to the throne room, try to leave the room, that will trigger a gruesome hidden Death End where Lily Hopes is getting crucified by her father, the king.

Heartis Palace (Revisited)[]

You return to Heartis Palace soon after unlocking the Strain Area and beating the Sanatheus Temple dungeon to search for its Terminal Stone which is supposedly located in the Heartis Vault, nestled deep inside the center of the palace, Nova the luden remarks to Lily that the kingdom she left behind is a huge mess right now and Alice further comments that the guards are locked in the throne room, waging a sad battle they cannot hope to win. Lucil starts bickering with Lily after she was having a conversation, being frustrated at the fact Lily was talking to the people who associate with Ripuka, who slaughtered the residents in her village. Lucil decides to go on ahead and travel through a Strain Area door back to Heartis Palace, the bickering between her and Lily continues throughout the dungeon. Heartis Palace is now inhabited by stronger enemies than before, after a while exploring the hallways of Heartis Palace, you'll reach scene that depicts the guards and Chief Knight Gilsura trying desperately to protect the Heartis Vault, ultimately resulting in defeat and Chief Knight Gilsura passing away in a scene later at the throne room, this triggers a emotional response from Lily and her character sequence will begin to collapse from her buggy surpressing her anger, resulting in Lily entering a rage. Beating Lily triggers a scene where she'll regain her anger. Reaching Heartis Vault will trigger a scene, grant you the Genre: Fighting Battle Jack, the Exchange γ Code Jack and concludes Chapter 6.

You can now unlock the sealed door in the East Wing of Heartis Palace by using Clea's avalanche bug skill and get Palace Key 4, additionally you can also view two events; One where the party eats together and one where Celica (quite forcibly) tries to put on a maid dress on Lucil Filarete after finding a pair and wearing one of them herself.
