Mai standing in the Mountain Path.
The Mountain Path area is an area from Death end re;Quest 2 in Le Choara east of the Shopping District, Celebrity Arcade area that the party first visits in Chapter 3. The track that plays here is Illusions Everywhere.
Mountain Path[]
The party first travels through the Shopping District in Chapter 3 after Mai has gotten the map of Le Choara from Iris, which had a specific point highlighted on it. She travels there in the hopes of finding clues surrounding Le Choara and her missing little sister, Sanae. You go through the Shopping District to reach the Mountain Path area. Once further in Rotten comments on how this spot is familiar and that it's where they found Vina, quickly after they spot a monster approaching, Rotten suggests running but Mai insists on fighting it, upon which you'll fight the Killing Filler, after defeating the monster a scene plays where Mai finds a piece of paper near where the monster was, mysterious numbers and symbols were written on it. Mai proceeded to enter it in the laptop as a password which the laptop accepts, they return to the dormitory soon after.
The next morning Liliana visits Mai and Rotten's room to ask if she could accompany them, Mai first being reluctant decides Liliana can join her and Rotten. Later in the day Midra tells Liliana her, Anne and Sarah are going to the church to meet the Bishop. Mai expresses concern but Midra tells her that if everything goes well it should only take 3 days. While returning to their rooms, they notice by peeking out of the window that there is a fire near the church so Mai and Rotten quickly go outside to investigate. If you choose "It may spread to the church." the Death End later is enabled and Anne and Sarah die resulting in that you won't be able to talk to them anymore in the Dormitory, if you choose ''It won't spread'' Anne and Sarah will live and the Death End later is disabled. After investigating the burning building, they notice the church is unnaturally quiet, they head inside and notice no ones there. They eventually notice Liliana hiding inside of the church, she tells Mai and Rotten that they were praying until monsters barged in and took Anne and Sarah to the forest. Without hesitation they all, including Liliana set out to find them.
They eventually find Anne and Sarah inside of a shed with a giant monster called the ''Kidnapper'' who supposedly has taken them there. Liliana is shaking due to seeing what happened to Anne and Sarah, choose ''Wait for Liliana.'' for a Death End, the Kidnapper then proceeds to snatch Rotten and Liliana from Mai killing them. Eventually the Kidnapper notices the party and attacks them. After defeating the Kidnapper the party heads inside to free Anne and Sarah, while going back to the Dormitory they run into Head Maid Shizu and Headmistress Midra who take Anne and Sarah back.
