Naraku Morikubo (モリクボ • ナラク Morikubo Naraku) is a ''Glitch Girl'' based on data of Al Astra created by ''ARATA MIZUNASHI'' appearing in Death end re;Quest: Code Z.

History

One of the improvised Ludens created by ARATA MIZUNASHI. It was created based on data of the game character ''Al Astra'', the memories of a certain person, and the corpse and memories of a certain idol who recently passed away. The corpse was supposed to be in pieces, but they did ''something'' with the body.

She has a harsh tongue, is cold, and always has a curt attitude. Deep sadness swirls inside her, and she can no longer see the glamor she had when she was an idol when she was alive. But since she came back to life, it would be nice if it was a little brighter.

She is interested in intelligently analyzing the tragic ways in which people die, and even assists ARATA MIZUNASHI in his crimes. Because of her motive, she is one of Sayaka's formidable enemies.

Unlike Al Astra who is missing the emotion ''sadness'', it seems that Naraku Morikubo is completely swallowed by sadness.

Etymology

The word "Naraku" is derived from the Sanskrit language, "Naraka", which bears the same meaning as Naraku in Indian religions. In Buddhism, Naraka is afterlife similar to Hell although it is never an eternal punishment for sinners within it, but very evil souls would spend thousands or even millions years there to suffer for their sins.
