Rook is a Beastman who works as a peddler. Due to a glitch in his teleportation code, he appears at several places simultaneously. He runs various shops throughout World's Odyssey.
History[]
Shortly after Shina Ninomiya begins her journey, she finds Rook being attacked by monsters. Shina defeats the creatures, these battles making up Death end re;Quest's basic tutorial; once Rook is safe, he explains the state of the world to the amnesiac Shina.
In Chapter 10, Victor Tailman takes control of Rook after losing access to Arata Mizunashi's Mr. Enigma avatar. The Tailman-controlled Rook is ultimately killed by the Ludens.
