Skala is a boss and Entoma Queen introduced in Death end re;Quest, Skala later reappears in Death end re;Quest 2's Pain Area.

Death end re;Quest

Skala appears as the boss of Heartis Palace in Chapter 1 and is the first Entoma Queen you fight, you fight Skala at the end of the dungeon. Defeating Skala triggers a scene, gives you the Pandemic (Enemy) x1 Code Jack, unlocks the ability to summon Entoma Queens in battle, giving you access to summon Skala and concludes Chapter 1. You can later enhance the Skala summon in the Strain Area up to level 10 by talking to Levin at any point after Chapter 5.

A variant of Skala named ''Bleeding Skala'' can be fought at the end of the bonus dungeon Landor Cave, The Uncharted Lands from the ''Dungeon re;Quest pack'' DLC, along with variants of Araful (Bleeding Araful) and the Infernal Wyrm (Bleeding Sol Blast).

Death Ends

• Centipede's Toy: You can trigger a Death End by losing the battle to Skala, where it is described that Skala is playing with the corpses of Shina and Lily.

Death end re;Quest 2

Skala reappears in the first level of the Pain Area of Death end re;Quest 2 which can be accessed in New Game+ by interacting with the phone booth with Mai, Rotten and Liliana in the party. Skala in this game has been significantly buffed up to match the difficulty of the Pain Area. Skala is also known as ''Skala β'' in this game, which is a trait shared with the other Entoma Queens who reappear in Death end re;Quest 2. Defeating Skala β gives access to the second floor.

Skala reappears in the Strain Area of Death end re;Quest: Code Z where they serve as the boss in the ''deepest part of the dungeon'', Skala and by extension the other bosses seemingly have captured a ''heroine'' and by defeating Skala you can rescue said heroine, who automatically follows Sayaka and provides auxiliary support to her, you then have to escape the dungeon together after defeating the boss by finding a escape point.
