Sayaka Hiwatari in the Strain Area in Death end re;Quest Code Z.
The Strain Area appears in Death end re;Quest: Code Z as the main dungeon Sayaka Hiwatari traverses during gameplay. It is seemingly identical to the Strain Area as seen in Death end re;Quest but within a 3d space. As the game is similar to a roguelike, the locations of enemies, traps, and entrances/exits change each time the Strain Area is entered.
The Strain Areas itself takes over places in Sagami City and convert it to a digital-like world, each area contains a Entoma Queen and a ''Core''.
The Strain Area is said to be the place where "inconvenient" beings were placed during the creation of the world. Among these beings are said to be characters such as Rotten Dollhart.

Trivia[]
- In the Japanese version of Death end re;Quest 2, the Strain Area is reffered to as the ''Corpse Museum''. This is the reason this scene is called Corpse Museum in the episode chart despite no mention of that term in the English version.
- Rotten's face can partially be seen on the ceiling of Death end re;Quest 2's Strain Area.
