Succubus is a boss and Shadow Matter from Death end re;Quest 2, it has the appearance of a tall woman, blindfolded, four arms and with butterfly-like wings on her back, there appears to be a second face at her chest area.
History[]
In Chapter 4 Victorie and Chitsuba have an argument, Chitsuba is upset at Victorie for being flirty with others. Later in the Chapter at a scene in the Lakeside Area right before you fight the Succubus Mai gets a vision of someone shoving Victorie in the lake. Victorie cannot swim and asks Chitsuba for help. Chitsuba comments that ''something happened'' between her and Headmistress Midra before pulling her out, soon after Chitsuba pushes her in again and Victorie is left to drown, resulting in Chitsuba becoming the ''Succubus'' Shadow Matter. Soon after another scene plays out where the party hears a noise, they investigate and they find the Succubus, with Victorie's body near it, suggesting it has killed Victorie
After this scene plays out, a scene plays where Mai suggests the Succubus can still be saved since it used to be human cause they noticed it spoke their language. If you choose ''Finish it off.'' Mai kills the Succubus and the game continues as normal.
Death Ends[]
- Chapter 4 DEATH END: If you choose ''Get closer.'' after beating the Succubus, a scene plays out where the Succubus proceeds to singlehandedly kill off Mai, Rotten and Liliana.
Trivia[]
- In the Japanese version the Succubus's name is in full kanji and would translate out to something along the lines of "Tragic Love Demon".
