Werner Glock is a character in Death end re;Quest and he is set to reappear in Death end re;Quest: Code Z. He is the rival of Victor Tailman and used to work for Aphesis. He is the CEO of Enigma. His appearance is never actually seen during the course of the game until it gets revealed later in Death end re;Quest: Code Z.
History[]
Werner spends the entire game hiding in another country, though Victor eventually finds out that he's actually still in Japan, and taunts Werner over the phone as he tortures his daughter, Rin. Werner then has to escape his hide out as Victor had found where it was.
Werner teaches Arata how to code, helping Arata save World's Odyssey. Werner would always email at suspicious times, with people assuming he had the room bugged to always hear the going's on.
Werner eventually finds where the girls are being held, which allows Arata to find their bodies, though this only leads to him discover that Shina had been murdered six months prior by Victor, and then finds Munakata and Sumika dead outside the building, having been killed by Martyrs.
Death end re;Quest: Code Z[]
SPOILER WARNING |
---|
Below this point are critical plot details for a game that has yet to be officially released in North America or Europe. |
He is the president of ''Iris Corporation'' who is always aloof. Like many of the other members, he was transferred from ''Enigma''. The reason for his transfer is said to be because he had a troublesome colleague at Enigma with whom he did not get along.
He is very close to Iris, the founder of the company, and seems to have many secrets about this world, but he is very light-tipped because he thinks it is best not to talk about them unecessarily.
He is a cautious and tricky man, despite his lighthearted flirtation with words and actions. Personally, I don't like him much. He is kind to Sayaka, though.
Trivia[]
- Despite him being mistaken as the president of Enigma Games, Death end re;Quest 2 confirms that the president is a man that goes by the name ''Greg'' as stated by Shina in a camp dialogue.
