Wordsworth Dormitory is an all-girl's dormitory in the quiet town of Le Choara, Mai Toyama is admitted to Wordsworth after an incident with her father where Mai acted in self defense which resulted in her father's death. Julietta the social worker initially takes Mai to Wordsworth, but Mai had a different goal in mind which is to find her little sister Sanae who she believes was also taken to Wordsworth some time ago. After some time Mai begins to befriend a fellow student named Rotten Dollhart who's also simply referred to as ''Rottie'', Rottie aids her along the way to find her little sister but later another student joins the dormitory named Liliana Pinnata who joined at the same time as Anne Satie and Sarah Floyd. Liliana and Mai quickly became friends and helped her and Rottie find Mai's little sister and solve the mystery of Le Choara.
Wordsworth is overseen by Midra Dollhart, the Headmistress and the mother of Rotten, the maids that works there, with the head maid being Shizu Melonis. Midra preaches the religion of ''El Strain'' to the children of Wordsworth Dormitory and they give their prayers of El Strain everyday after dinner, only Mai Toyama finds the religion to be a bit suspicious and does not practice it.
In the menu for Wordsworth Dormitory you can go to the first or second floor or outside of Wordsworth to talk to the fellow students, depending on what choices you made during the game some students may provide additional scenes depending on if you saved them or not, in New Game+ you can unlock additional scenes in and around Wordsworth after completing certain sidequests from the Mysterious Merchant, the scenes mostly feature characters from the first Death end re;Quest and give more context to the plot of New Game+, if you've talked to all the students or simply want to progress further you can press the ''End Day'' button to head out and continue the gameplay section of Death end re;Quest 2.
In chapter 8 the Nihil Shadow Matter will have entered the Dormitory after Midra supposedly slaughtered all of the children inside of Wordsworth, as a result you'll be able to see a unique background where Dormitory is completely covered in blood, after you defeated Frenzied Midra, the ''augmented reality'' created by Julietta's curse lifts, Julietta later reveals in chapter 9 inside of the church that Le Choara and Wordsworth were long abandoned and Mai has been talking to herself in an empty room, reliving Wordsworth as it was in the year 1980 to 1989.

- Wordsworth Dormitory is based on Jiaiin girls dormitory from the manga ''Dolls Fall''. Both Dolls Fall and Death end re;Quest 2 were written by Makoto Kedouin and Dolls Fall serves as the main inspiration for the game.
- The symbol used for Wordsworth Dormitory is a direct reference to the ''Seal of Marbas'' from the Ars Goetia.
